Nope no need. While not a muzzle loader I have an old Remington Model Seven in 7-08 I picked up right after they came out back in the '80s. I've hunted with it as has my oldest son and now my wife. That rifle has never missed a shot on game and never required a second shot thru all those years of all three of us hunting a variety of game from a squirrel to deer, exotics, hogs and more. It's been to several states and taken a lot of game and still has a perfect record.
There's no reason your rifle can do the same.
