Way to go Dan!  Must have used some Lenon lure to get him in close, LOL!  I have a lot of hunter customers who use my Fox #3 Nature's Call or my Muskrat Super All Call as a deer lure and swear by it year after year.  Ace

Looks identical to the 7-pointer I killed this year. I took him with my bow on opening day of bow season. He was still full velvet. I shoot a PSE Nova single cam with carbon arrows and thunderhead broadheads. What do you shoot?

Congratulations on your deer!

RdFx , Got a whole box of bones headed your way . Oh yah you can have the hide too .  :-D

Asa , sorry cant throw a word in for ya this time . Seems that everytime I catch an animal , you have something to do with it . This time it was pure luck . I was just at full draw on a spike when this came in only a split second later , never seen him coming .

Dang KYtrapper you guys must start hunting early to have velvet . You getting a mount done ? I am just cause its a perfectly symetrical eight . I got a cousin that is a taxadermist and he made me a deal , if I skin the head out .
I am shooting a Oneida Eagle , the first one that came out . 64 lbs with carbon Terminaters , 100 gr Muzzy . The boe is old but every deer I have ever gotten with a bow was with that bow so theres no need to upgrade , yet .

Dan: We did start early this year. we started on Sept. 6 which was two weeks earlier than last season. I was sitting on the fround on a hillside that deer often use to get to a corn field when 4 bucks and a doe ran and stopped about 15 yards in front of me. I picked out the biggest buck and made a good double lung shot. He ran 30 yards.

Yes I am having him mounted, because of the velvet. It was just too pretty to pass up. He is my 2nd bowkill. I took a small 6-pointer last year with my bow.

Why do yu feel that the deer are attracted to them 2 lures ??

Do you think it is curiousity or something else .

Ifin you dont mind explaining I would like to know........Probably could get about 100 plus deer hunters to use it,ifin I tell them it works ,but I need to know why.lol
