I too shoot the 22-250 with H380. However, 38 grains is pretty hot (really, it is the classic load in this cartridge, and it is where H380 got its name). The 22 250 in general tends to eat barrels pretty quickly. I have about 1200 round through my factory CM barrel, and my gunsmith showed me through a borescope that the lands out about 1.5 inches were very eroded. Thet looked sort of like antiqued paint, sort of cracked, veins, and general burning.
It has been a tack driver, but alas, is losing its accuracy. Next on the list for this rifle will be a new stainless 6BR. Same bolt face and at least 3 times the life of the 22 250. It does a fine job at putting bullets where you want them out to about 250, maybe 300, it just isn't as flat shooting.
It is, however, as flat shooting as a 243, with a 3rd less powder. My, my, the wonders of modern physics
