why does this always happen right before CHRISTmas shopping season?????

I stopped into a relatively new gunshop on my delivery route last week and guess what I found

A used 45-70 buffalo classic and a new 38-55 as well......and he has one of the limited  edition buffalo's with the gold colored engravings.

He wants only $225 for the used BC

Why does this always happen to me just before christmas shopping season?

While on sta-cation this last week I recycled scrap steel, used batteries happened to be "up" as well. I made $221.00, which is found money in a single man's budget. My favorite gun store had a nice used  45/70 handi for $199.99. What did I do?

Spent $250.10 on the gun and a box of primers..... ::)

I've got no one to blame but meself! :D

Hey atllaw: you are right. I am going to go put the 45-70 (used) Buff classic on layaway, damnit.  I did score a very-good/excellent swedish mauser model 1938 bent bolt carbine with a box of norma 156 grain ammo for 200 bucks cash at the last gunshow too......one of the better scores I have ever made.

 Dont feel alone. I have 4 shops on my way home. I make it a habit to go the long way. So I dont have to see the shops open ;D
