Is it ok to shoot slugs through my full choke 12 guage??

Ive been hunting up a storm with my Pardner 12 guage and was thinking of trying out some slugs to see how it prints on paper.  But I thought I might better check with folks here if its "safe" to shoot slugs through a full choke before I put my shoulder through the abuse.   :o

as long as its not a sabot you should be fine. my pardner turkey with a fixed full choke seems to like the low recoil remington sluggers shot preety good at 30 yards they defently kick though

yes it is safe, slugs are made to shoot safely through the tightest bore thay may encounter. It may not (or may) be as accurate as a modified or improved choke but it will be completely safe....<><....:)

Thanks for the info folks.   I thought that was the case for slugs....but thought I better check.   I will give the remington low recoils a try and see what they will do.
