It's not so much Palin as it is the moral integrity that she portrays to people with ideals of our forefather's intentions. And that is a Godly Christian Nation. God can easily turn this nation around with the man, or the woman, of his choosing. Look what he did for Israel with a small town unknown meekly man named Gideon. One thing led to another, and he became a national hero. And you can bet your boots he had plenty of critics. For the way Gideon went about doing things was totally absurd.
Fourbee;
I think you have a valid point there, since it seems to be the primary problem with the Republican establishment. There are a certain number of them comprised mostly, although not entirely, of what TM refers to as "neocons". they are fiscally conservative, but culturally out in lefty land. If they are to help the Reps they must get off their anti traditional values soap boxes. "Values" Republicans do accept the position of fiscal responsibility, but the others won't offer the same courtesy in respecting the values voters. If they keep that attitude they could well be ringing the death knell of the Republican party...they do have a choice.
Ron Paul was on FOX tonight along with his son. When asked if this was a great time for a third party to rise, he confessed that it is probably the best time for it, but concluded that due to media attitudes and refusal of coverage..it would not likely succeed.
Not being a member of either major party, I liked the advice given by Fred Thompson the other day. He said he would simply vote for the most conservative candidate in each case. If a Rep & Dem were running against each other, he would vote for the most conservative, if it were a Dem, Rep and third party running against each other...he would vote for the most conservative one...Sounds about right to me!
