Wife Tries to Kill Husband Over Muslim Principles, Cops Say

A New York woman allegedly tried to slit her husband's throat because she said he wasn't the devout Muslim she thought she married five months ago, the Staten Island Advance reported.

Rabia Sarwar told authorities in a four-page written confession that she tried her "best to cut his throat," but that her husband, Sheikh Naseem, woke up and took the knife from her.

The 37-year-old's attorney told the Advance that Naseem, a high school teacher who is half Pakistani, "was a cruel person, he preyed on her."

"He literally threatened to have her parents mutilated," Joseph Licitra told the newspaper.

Unnamed sources told the Advance Naseem pressured Sarwar, a Pakistani, to do things that were against her religious beliefs.

"He made her do stuff that she didn't like to do — eating pork, drinking alcohol, wearing short clothes. She did all of that to make him happy," the source said.

PEORIA, Ariz. — Police in a Phoenix suburb say they have arrested a father suspected of hitting his daughter with his car because she was becoming "too Westernized" and was not living according to their traditional Iraqi values.

Police in Peoria are releasing few details, but say 48-year-old Faleh Almaleki is in custody. Police aren't saying where Almaleki was arrested or where he's being held.

Almaleki's daughter, 20-year-old Noor Faleh Almaleki, is hospitalized in serious condition. According to police, the Almaleki's moved to the suburb of Glendale from Iraq during the mid 90's.

Police say Faleh Almaleki was upset that his daughter had become too "Westernized" when he aimed his car at his daughter Oct. 20 in a Peoria parking lot.

The start is to get extreme muslims to recognise laws and traditions in the country they're in at the moment. USA laws when you're in USA. UK laws in UK.

That's the problem with Globalization. You don't simply keep following your own code of conduct regardless og local customs.
Turkish inhabitants in Germany and Denmark brought with them all of their traits, good and bad and now they're destroying both countries. Mexicans in USA brought with them Mexican customs.

US army brought their code of conduct to Iceland, some good, some bad. But they were living in a country that has clean natural drinking water and they destroyed their water supply with chemicals. They introduced termites to Iceland, which we had never had before. And most likely they brought, and stored nuclear weapons in a coutry that has done everything in it's power to keep it's neutral status in the world.

And as far as "some cultures don't mix", remember that that is what they said in south africa.

Education and information, that's how to battle extreme believers.

I can only write about Germany which is taking a harder stance on those that do not wish to intregate. There are fines for parents that refuse to send their children to school, if they are on welfare, their payments are reduced and truant children will be escorted to school by police. The "Ordnung muss sein" philosophy is still alive and well there.

Funny.

But how is a nation supposed to act if it wants, and perhaps needs, to maintain order and peace? Education by force is perhaps not the answer but from what I've gathered, information and education for those children may convince them that the social structure in wich they live, is not in their best interest. Why should a part of a belief system prohibit women from working or learning, if not to strengthen their flimsy hold on power?
We agree on many things, from what I've read here, and that's probably because we each acknowledge the fact that that kind of social structure is wrong. I agree with you, everyone should have the rights to practise their religion. But what if said religion opposes laws and regulations of the state?
If a follower of the old norse gods wants to be received by his gods into heaven, he must die by a weapon. Must, or else he goes to hell, where he will build a ship out of dead mens finger- and toenails until doomsday. He must not die by his own hand, but in a fight. Freedom of belief? The word of the law?

I'm not aware of any country or large group of people that practice the Norse mythology as novel as at may sound

I would suggest that those folks that emigrate out of their culture and do not wish to adapt to the new one or obey the law of that land, be strongly encouraged to return to the land of their ancestors post haste.

There has been many good things brought over from other cultures that we have embraced. But they were not shoved down our throats.

The Muslims will not accept rejection of their ideas. Especially from their own children. But as their community gets bigger and stronger they start forcing their beliefs on all around them. I have seen this in Europe. Muslims move into a country, small groups at first keeping a low profile. Then as the groups gets bigger more and more move into the area to make their community grow. Then they start enforcing their laws on their people. At first the locals think "well it's them keeping their kind under control, none of our business". Then it starts overflowing into the local populous. Small things at first being enforced on locals, to bring them in line with Muslim law. Then it gets bigger and they start enforcing their laws on all coming within their area. The Musliums even stand up against local law enforcement, saying their law is supream. And the ironic thing is they get away with it. When the local government finally decides to do something about it, it's too late. The locals are accused of genocide, or at least being raciest, and the rest of the world turns against them. Have seen this in Germany, Denmark, England, France, and the Balkans.

The main reason I came here tonight was to say that the girl ran down by her father has died. The Father was denied entry into England, and returned to the US, where he was arrested, then extrodited to Pheonix. Maybe he will meet Joe Arpia, and get to live in one of his tents. Should make him feel right at home.

When muzzie cab drivers refuse to drive a fair when they believe that the person has been drinking, muzzie checkout clerks refuse to ring up a sale of pork at a supermarket, what the hell did they move to this country for? A simple reason. They want to take it over, just like country's in Europe.

Shootall: BINGO, maybe that is why I always looked forward to a day in Germany, Italy, or Greece. I could let my hair down (so to speak) and act pretty much as I pleased, without drawing attention to myself. While in the Muslim world I was always on edge. No matter how hard I tried I could not blend in.

The people in Germany, looked just like the people in Luxemburg, who looked just like the people in France. The people in Spain, looked just like the people in Italy, who looked just like the people in Greece. Yet the Muslims stood out, they looked just like the Muslims in Iraq, Iran, Turkey, and Lebanon. They did not want to assimilate, or look like the locals. They wanted to be just like they had been where they came from. In other words they were bringing their world with them.

Exactly gypsyman!! They can't take us by force so they move in, multiply like flies, then take over. Checkmate, game-over. Their plan is for Islam to rule the world.
Expect to see an increase of Daughters and Sons getting run over by their Muslim fathers.

Powderman, Wouldn,t bother me in the least either. We need to stop them before its to late, but a large part of America is to content to worry about some Muslims doing whatever they do in their mosques. At the least we need to stop them from coming into this country. We have no idea what down the road intent they have. I do believe they hate anything and anyone that ain't Muslim.

This bunch of 7th century throwbacks make me sick! If it were up to me
I would make it clear to them and everyone else for that matter that we
have laws that we live by in our country. If you aren't going to abide by
them, then get the hell out or better yet don't even come here in the first
place. And if by chance you do break our laws, you will be prosecuted to
the full extent of the law. You're not in Saudi Arabia any more. We can't
go over there and do whatever we feel like and think we would get away
with it. I'm sure they would look down on us as being ignorant if we
conducted ourselves like that in their country. Wouldn't they?
