What forend will fit  a Pro hunter Katahdin 45-70? Can I use my Boyds laminated heavy contour or my regular synthetic?

Does the regular Katahdin and the Prohunter Katahdin take the same forearm? I thought I read that Pro Hunter forends will fit ProHunter Katahdin barrels. Has anyone checked? Are the holes even spaced the same?

my 25-06 heavy barrel forend will not fit my 444 katahdin. Both are composite. You might be able to open up a wood forend to fit. The holes are the same.
I have a pro hunter ML forend that will not fit my regular katahdin ML barrel.
