Found myself on a hunting trip recently without any bore cleaner,I'm shooting Blackhorn 209.Dug around the camper and found a bottle of Heet gas line antifreeze,I knew it contained Methyl Alcohol and alcohol is a solvent so I gave it a try.Worked fine,actually better than some gun solvents I've tried.I plan on using it again unless someone here has a good reason why I shouldnt.
