Tom
I'm going to start Monday pinching some rats on the Miss and stay after them for a week, then it's back to work. Like I mentioned in one of my other post there seems to be more rat houses this year. I don't know that it will mean more rats and I haven't seen only one while duck hunting, which is not unusual. Anyway it is nice to see the houses on the marsh again. I've also noticed that some of the islands seem to be running full of some type large field mouse. Not sure what changed so drastically in the rodent world other than very stable water levels most the summer?
And I'm guessing all the ducks are still up your way???? FWS said we had a good crop this year yet hunting has been slow at best. Weather isn't helping and there isn't much moving right now except swans.

You be safe too buddy

Our season opens in a few days, but I'll be holding off until the fur is primed a little more before I start setting any steel. Hope everyone has a safe and prosperous season. Worm
