Collapsible buttstock
« on: November 07, 2009, 06:15:51 PM »
Will the collapsible six position SHOTFORCE Buttstock with pistol grip and forend fit the rifles? I have the 7.62x39 that i want to use for a "kid gun". I think that it would be great for short limbed little guys. Will it fit?

Yes. I have not used one. But the add states all variants. Plus all the H&R stocks are interchangable except for the 10 gage variants.

FAQ has a lot of information on these Handi's ;)

They are great for kids.  I had that in mind for the one I bought.  Open sights are ok if you smash your cheek down or have a smaller profile like a child.  Using a bead sighted shotgun however takes A LOT to get down into the stock enough to sight correctly.  Works perfect with scoped barrels though.  The one I got DID NOT come with the removable rubber butt pad and had a loose wobbly fit to the frame.  I repaired it it that putty "weld" stuff and it works fine now.  An added benefit is when a youth shoots it fully collasped it is shorter than the youth stocks, and when an adult shoots it it only takes a second to adjust.  The forearm that comes with it has a very wide channel and a 410 or UL looks lost in it but is has worked very well in holding good zeros on multiple barrel swaps.  Good luck.  Sounds like a winner on a 39!
