All the red flags were seen and noted but nothing was done. Being PC has AGAIN gotten a byunch of REAL Americans dead and wounded. Islam is a rapidly growing cancer. POWDERMAN.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

we never focus on anybody else's faith involved in horrendous crimes or mass murders

I'd be interested in finding out the faiths of any perpetraters of horrendus crimes and mass murder. You might find out that most have No particular "faith"(that they practiced). or that they are members of cults like the one this person was a member of. The faiths of crimminals are rarely mentioned unless the fact  that they are of a particular faith can be sensationalized by the media!

And who thunk that this would not make gun control a hot topic once again?

Not only have I been doing a similar job as Hasan for several years now, I've also deployed twice to OIF with a forward edge infantry unit, with over 40 of mine KIA including a CO, was wounded along with 300+ of mine, and lost both of my parents during the last deployment. MY FAITH has kept me confident and has never led me to consider picking up a weapon to kill my fellow service members. War is always a matter of faith at the individual level, if not a reason to fight, then a reason to keep going.

Ahhh because this cancer screamed Alah Akbar before he went on his killing spree like all of his fellow cancers do. That is why his faith is brought into the mix. The minute I heard about this horrendus crime I knew it was a muslim who did it. And TM of course the PC crowd is going to blabber antigun statements, it is there failure that has allowed a cancer like this to infect America and they will do anything to place blame elsewhere.

TNelson....seems like Hasan had special training and psych research....memory blocking and that sort of thing; info from Europe......
..TM7

"special training" as in mental hardening, post traumatic growth, compassion fatigue, diagnosis & treatment of cognitive disorders resulting from TBI ... yeah, its not mystical anything. All providers (Chaplains too) receive that training, since we all are here to support the troops. We don't stare at goats ...

Even though his crime was the most horrific committed up until that time, no one said Christian Timothy McVeigh, they just said Timothy McVeigh. There both nut bags I think the guy will commit suicide.

Was he said to be Christian?    :o   I would like to see the proof of that.

I was raised Catholic. I was confirmed Catholic (received the sacrament of confirmation). Through my military years, I sort of lost touch with the religion. I never really picked it up, however I do maintain core beliefs.

  I'll Say!!

A lot of folk find relegion when the axe is about to drop! I'd say he got no atta boy at the pearly Gates.

What it seems to me is that "Christians" who have fallen, will find themselves "Christians", after they have been condemned.

Muslims find religion(the Religion of peace BTW) then start killing to serve their "GOd"

Like i said before none that "Practice"  their Religion.

Not even close to being the same thing.
