I'm dumbfounded. Harry Teague is my rep here in NM and he had the guts to vote no. Harry's voting record up to this point has been less than sterling and he has been catching a lot of flack from this very conservative area of his district. Maybe he's seeing the handwriting on the wall for 2010. The two liberals from the north part of the state voted just like I expected.

So did Alabama, even our lone black congressman who was elected unopposed but who has been warned by his constiuents in no uncertain terms they did not want this bill passed.

I was hoping it was true that Texas reps uniformly voted no, but that's not the case.

Bonner is my rep and as you can see he voted NO!  Good showing for Alabama!

Alaska Said No.  We only got one rep to check, Don Young said no.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Regardless of what the House passed on Saturday night, the Senate isn't going to pass a health care reform bill.  Not enough votes to do so.

I hope ya'll are right on that one.  I know it is being considered a new ball game now that it is in the senate; however, when the deal making begins you just never know how this thing is going to go.

Good to see that Mississippi said no, except for Thompson who votes the way his bosses tell him to.
