« on: November 09, 2009, 02:51:01 PM »
My cousin has a new 20 ga. USH and the empties aren't ejecting, they did at first now not at all.

I'm gonna try the bb as listed in the Faqs., any other ideas.

He said that he cleaned the chamber real well. Soooo

Thanks

Maybe a long shot, but I had the same issue with my tracker 12 ga.  Mine was tapped for a scope and it wasn't tapped blind so the holes were tapped through and the scope base screws weren't filling up the holes so the brass and the plastic on the empty shell would flow up into the holes when shot and hold the empty in the chamber.  I filled them with JB weld and radiused them to the chamber and all is good now.  If yours is tapped from the factory, it "should" be blind tapped but it's worth the check.  Check the spent cases for abnormalities....

okay guys,
I have tried what it says to do in the facts and the problelm that I have encountered is that when the extractor is pressed all the way in it clicks and then it will not pop out as it should.

I've got it about as smooth as glass and I've used powdered graphite on it.
Should I keep polishing it or ----.

Lazermule,
I checked it,and  it's okay.   Thanks for the input

Thanks
James

Well, the cousin finally picked his barrell up and gave it a try and said that the empties are flying 4-5 ft. over his shoulder with no issues.
