Weaver Base Help

I know there is a lot of talk about rings and mounts on here....I searched and couldn't get a definitive answer. I am leaving Fri for deer camp and need to change the scope out on my T3 25/06...I remember when I mounted it the heads of the screws were soft. I don't have time to order a set of mounts but I have a brand new set of Millet rings (weaver style) what bases do I need for a T3 # 61's or the 67/65 combo? I am on a business trip and will be heading home tomorrow, so if anybody knows where I could buy some real mounts in the Oklahma City area please let me know. Thanks for the help...Robbie

The Weaver chart shows 61 if flat design or 67 and 65 if Sako design also called tapered dovetail. Not being a Tikka owner I have no clue what that means.

Weaver bases # 61's .Millet rings ( weaver take off's ) medium gets you there with a 40 MM scope .
Have a friend with this set up , while I just went with weaver all the way .

I stopped in OKC today at a gunshop and got the 61 bases....got home tonite and tried to take the filler screws out...they would come loose and turn but for the life of me I couldn't get them out...I don't know why they wouldn't come out...so I gingerly put the new scope on the stock rings...as tite as they were on the gun..they weren't gonna move...I was able to get it all back together and am heading out tomorrow for almost two weeks of deer hunting...I guess I am gonna get me either some Warne Rings or a DNZ mount later....thanks for your help...Robbie
