NICE!
I've got an old one of those.  Never use it much but it's fun.

Did you make the grip for it too Larry?

Chris-

This is a new model, bought about 8 years ago.  Heard bad things about the Bearcats, accuracy wise, but I decided to try one.  Glad I did, very accurate, perfect size to slip in your pocket.  The grips on this gun are Elk, made by Sac Peterson.

Those are great looking grips.   I'm gonna start looking for a Bearcat just to give me a reason to get a set of grips like yours!   I love em.  ;D

I think most people think they're not accurate because they can't see down those little cowboy style sights.  Mine tends to shoot a little high and to the left but if you know your gun and know it's tendencies before shooting it, it'll shoot little groups and can be a lot of fun to play with.  It's no long distance shooter but I like it!

You and those stag grips, first the pair of 45's and now the Bearcat!  I like it.  Give's em personality!

Once long long ago I had one that was not only accurate but actually hit to point of aim. I really should have kept it. I've had a few since none of which were either accurate or hit to point of aim. They are really nice little revolvers to tote with you on woods walks. One that actually hits to POA and is accurate to boot is a joy to have. For me at least one that does neither is merely a burden.

The only drawback to one that actually hits POA and is accurate is that for a .22, they're LOUD!

Bigeasy, what ammo are you using to get your best accuracy? Mine isn't very accurate with most brands of ammo, but is sure fun to shoot with "Wildcat" Winchester stuff!

Jager-

Almost any standard velocity load works well.  I have a brick of the old Federal Target ammo that seems best, with the Elly stuff pretty close.  Main thing is it shoots to point of aim, which is nice to have on a fixed sight gun.
