I'm changing around my reloading area and saw on some site a topic that showed 20+ pic of different loading set ups. Does any one know where I can find that.

Didn't see the requested post, but would sure recommend an underbench mounted receiver set up for tools.

This leaves the benchtop clean with no holes and allows for changing tools quickly.

Put this system in our new digs about 3 years back and really like it.

I just made a minnie reloading bench! 16 x 24 inch bench with the rock chucker attached ! Had to screw it to the wall! Resizing 7mm rem mag about tipped it over with out the screws! But when its 10/30 below outside i'm going to be processing thousands of cases! All nice and toasty in the basement! Small bench small clutter! Dale

When I built a new reloading room I thought about a quick change base on my bench to mount my presses and trimmer.
I decided it is easier to build a bigger bench. Even if the presses are not all mounted on the bench, they need to be stored somewhere.
Also, The key to consistant powder drops and progressive press consistancy is a SOLID bench and mount and I was not sure a quick change mount would provide that

Years ago, my reloading bench was a piece of 2x12 4ft long fastened on two sets of drawers and screwed to the wall. Now, three houses later, I have two office type desks and two gun cabinets in what used to be the dining room!! Gotta love a woman that will give up her dining room for a gunroom! She is a Princess!

Nothing special here but, solid! The powder, primers and bullets are stored in the cabinets under the bench. The cabinets are on casters in case it needs to be moved. The bench is 2" laminated hardwood. I have an 18"x18"x1/2" piece of aluminum that the press was bolted to in my old setup. It was not needed with this one.

I saw that ! THey had everything that looked like vaults to Dr's. Offices. One looked like a converted Den, with TV and Lounge Chair. I didn't see a fridge or microwave ~ , I don't think.

But all that cartridge loading equipment, and there is a ML in the vise for display

Guess ya just can't beat "one cold shot"!!
That really is the original "hand loading" anyway's, ain't it??

p.s. Is the shotgun loaded?

muzzle loader was in the vise because it was new and i was putting a scope on it that day. the shotgun is the son in laws and it is there for repair.

I just thought with all that gear, a little extra security is a wise thing.

There are alot of really nice set-ups here,,what with rising unemployment, theft and burglery are defenatly on the rise in my neck of the woods. I try to keep a low profile,,outa sight is outa mind ya know?

How about a Rott?

He is a Shepard/Rott mix, with all the best of both breeds. He WILL let you in... but you will be there when I get home!! he is protective of any child that's in his yard or home. Its almost erie, when no one is home, he will quietly watch whatever of whom ever. Until he has you cornered. Then he starts to growl...lo and loud. Scares the bejesus out of most first time visitors!!!
