SORRY!!!! Another 10 gauge will it fit barrel question.
« on: November 11, 2009, 02:56:15 PM »
I am very sorry to ask a question that looks like it has been asked about 500 hundred times but I cannot seem to get it.
After checking the serial number from the note on the FAQ sticky I am even more confused.
Maybe I am just tired. Again please forgive this!!!
I have a 3 ½” 10 gauge – SB2 frame – serial no. NG302XXX
New England Firearms – Manufactured in Gardner MASS
The only barrels that can be factory fitted are the USH and 10 gauge barrels or can they fit the 12 gauge slug listed below along with the 20 gauge USH?

10 Gauge Shotgun Barrels Part # Description Price
924 10 Ga., 3 1/2" Chamber, 28" Full $49.00
638 10 Ga., 3 1/2" Chamber, 24" Cyl. Bore No Longer Available (Includes adjustable rifle sights for slug shooting.)
377 12 Ga., 3" Chamber, 24" Fully Rifled, Bull $86.00 (Includes scope mount rail.)
73-SSB 10 Ga., 24" Mod. Steel Tube $78.00
973-TK2 10 Ga., 24" Turkey, Extra-Full Tube $78.00
920 20 Ga., 24" Rifled $102.00

Again I am sorry but I am fairly frustrated.
Thanks again for any help and also this site!!!!!!

Thanks,
TFF

All of the barrels you mention except the 20ga. can be fit.
PROUD REDNECK CONSERVATIVE

I'd much rather be remembered for being a great shot than having the most expensive gun

If you look at the model numbers on the shotguns, you'll see what frames the barrels come on. All 20ga barrels listed on H&R's site come on SB1 frames. Don't be confused by the SB2 shotguns, the SB2 shotgun frame isn't the same as an SB2 rifle frame, the 20ga barrels can also be fitted to SB2 rifle frames.  ;)

You could if they had any, but they're out of stock and won't have any more until next year after they modernize them, see the sticky in the Huntsman/Sidekick forum.
