Lonny,
Thanks for the reminder. :-X  I can't swim either, lol, I'm in the Army just for that reason.  Dad was in the Navy.  My flight was just pushed back a few more days.  :'(

I'll get there when I get there. :(

Save me a few of those deer you keep penned up behind your house. ;)  I like the fact that they are released before you hunt them, especially when they come back hungry.  ;D

Who said I let them out first? ;D

Sorry to here about the flight. Sounds like someone over there found a way to get even. :-\

She may be glad to see my misery, but she couldn't do a thing about this.  She lost her witchy powers the other day. ;)

I knew some folks up in the Knobs who kept a pet deer, feeding and nurturing it from a young fawn after it's mother was hit on the road in front of their house.  This deer grew up to be a very respectable Main 8 with a few sticker points.  They would wrap yellow police scene/construction tape around it's antlers each year to ward off any hunters and they would also try to keep it close to the house during deer season. Well...... they had it for about 5 years, IIRC, and let one of their son's friends deer hunt in the woods behind their house. The son was supposed to warn the hunter about the pet and apparently never did.  He shot it 5 minutes after leaving the house to hunt one morning and came back to the house with it in tow.  The wife bawled her eyes out while the hunter told them it was a nice rack except for that plastic it got into at some construction site.  ;D :D

That's almost as bad as my Dad giving away our cockatiels, when I was young, to a friend of his. The drunkard killed them, ate the breasts and had them mounted.  They still swing in the cage when the wind blows. Lol  ;) :D ;D

Hey, y'all be careful out there, hear?!  Dinny--I'm hoping you get home before Lonny shoots all the big 'uns.  I plan an all dayer Sunday, but maybe fate will smile and a whopper will be on the ground early....ri-i-i-ight!   :D

Best of luck this weekend.

Right back to ya! And to everyone else out there.

I am off for the next 5 days ;D I have plenty of freezer emptyness and I don't like it.

I have a couple little ones in the barn for Dinny ;)

Well day #1, I got to see 5 deer. 4 while I was driving to and from the hunting area >:(, 1 while going to look for the deer and coyote, my daughter shot at :(

The corn fields are all still up! Would like to do plan B, but to many of us to hunt the small patch of woods we have access to. So this morning we will try setting up a little defferent around the fields and creeks.

Oh well, I guess the good Lord is looking out for the deer ;)
