Indiana Taxidermists

Hoosier Hunters,
Who do you recommend for taxidermy in your area?  I have used Timberwood Taxidermy (Washington County) for several years now. Rose Dulaney is world-class and has won prestigious titles for her high-quality workmanship.

Here's a list taken from the DNR website.

I had a great turkey mount done by Gary W. Beavers in Booneville.  I wanted it perched on a limb, head turned sort of looking down, tail spread only a little, not a limb strut.  It turned out awesome.  I sits over the doorway to our family room looking down on anyone in the room.

This guy comes out to the store on occasion. The neighbors says he lives out this way. They think highly of him and his work. I have not used him so I can not say one way or the other.

Oh yeah, how could I forget Mike Dunn? ??? ::)  He mounted my first deer a few years ago.  Looks like he still has that old picture of him doing the work on my deer there on his homepage. ::) ;D ;) :o

There is an excellent taxidermist in Aurora named Boggs, however he is pricey and takes a long time.  It took me 10 months to get back a European mount.  I guess he has to be in the mood.
