but i don t think he does know ,,an our ranking
heads of our military,, hopefully won t let him know what we can do,, in that department..just an old country boys opinion,,with respect for yours..slim

Many are looking out for a rogue nuke or catastrophic attack from Islam ... I'm convinced the threat is greater via cyber, hence creation of CYberComm. Very very few Americans would survive a direct hit to savings, retirement, utilities, etc.

hey matt i took two bullets in the back and a bayonet in the neck and that pretty well should say something about what i have done for my country....what about you what have you done?

You know one of the beautiful things about the internet and anonymity is that you can be anything you want. Maybe you have maybe you haven’t but either way why are you trying to brag to me about it?

I would love to know how many hours of research all you “911 Official stories” believers have logged.  You refer to 911 truthers as conspiracy theorist with a negative connotation when in fact even the official reports label it a conspiracy. So 911 WAS A CONSPIRACY… Now next the official reports admit that information was not provided or in some cases misinformation was provided. The official reports state that they really don’t know what happen or how.

Now here we have a bunch of die hard republicans on GBO who fit perfectly into the “Controllable” category and who also believe the media’s slide of hand trick about 911 which insinuates that we know everything already. WELL WE DON’T!!! And not one single one of you so called patriots dare speak up and for damn sure you’re not going to do your own research into the matter.

911 is the reason we are now the world’s police at the levels we are.  I do not feel that it is our place to do nation building in the Middle East or anywhere for that matter. We have lost more of our military over the last 8 years than we lost citizens on 911 not to mention those that are disabled for the rest of their lives. But yet you die hard believers do not feel that these men and women have the right to or deserve to know what the truth is about 911. Why?

You ask me what it is that I have done for my country, well though I have never served in the military I was a fire fighter for 6 years for my civil service.  I risked my life on an almost daily basis for those 6 years for total strangers and for almost no pay.  I have worked for 12 years now to provide the members of this and other countries a forum to discuss many of the subjects that are considered taboo these days.  I do not believe what the media or government tell me until I have done my own research and find that they are correct and if I find they are not I TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN. This is an effort to save this country from those domestic enemies which you took an oath to protect it from but you have decided to sit on your hands instead.

I really don’t care how much military service you have if you don’t live up to the oath you took.  Call yourself what you want as it really doesn’t matter to me as you have nothing to prove to me nor me you. But by blindly following as others lead, you will surly find yourself in a place you don’t want to be soon and by then it will be too late.

If ever any of you decide that this country is worth a little of your time I would be glad to share some of my research with you but in the end if you are not willing to do your own due diligence then in my opinion you do not give a rats ass about this country.

TM7.. One World Plantation...never heard that before that is a good one.

we are like it or not in a global economy a can not ever revert to an isolationist state. those days are done and everywhere you look you see how everything that happens has an impact somewhere else. i fear the rogue state with nukes will be the start of all out devestation. the other as mentioned id cyber terror which in itself could bring down economies and hamstring military forces across the globe.

we fight in for what is in our interest. oil we try ti influnce and even fight to proteect our interest in it. shut us off from it in 60 days all but our carriers and subs will be dead in the water. no gas no diesel for the tanks the copters the jets hummers...not to mention the stopping of all autos in the us the lights the stores and on and on. so we will fight for that oil that we must have and rightfully so.

TN, you seem to be confused…  “At least they can do so w/o fear.” could not be further from the truth. The folks who choose to use their minds and think for themselves have the condescending non thinkers to fear.  It is those who are not willing to take a little time to research a subject and take an informed stance on that subject that prevent many others from doing the same.

The reason I say this is because when you have a man that wants the truth and is willing to research it but when it comes time to share his information he is called tin foil hat nut and the like. What effect do you think that will have on him the next time he has information that should be shared? Most will say why bother.

Also to all you military folk… both past and present… Thank you for your service to this country whatever it may have been or is. But remember this if you think that your duty ends with “Your Job Description” then you are not fulfilling your oath to the rest of the country. You chose to serve and only you know your reasons but I know for a fact many have done so simply for a paycheck or the benefits that go along with it. If you fit into that category then so be it but don’t except much too much respect from me for it.  If not then truly THANK YOU but please do not stop defending the “Constitution” just because it is easier to follow than lead…

In 1960 statistics show that America produced everything they needed except bananas, coffee, tea, and cocoa for chocolate.  The only metal we needed to import was titanium.  We could grow the items we import in greenhouses or tea can be grown in the south.  That only leaves titanium which Brazil has a lot of.  If we went back to making everything we use, we could easily pay for the titanium for aircraft and spacecraft.  45% of all jobs in 1960 were in manufacturing with 6% full time farmers.  That left the remaining jobs in the service industry.  Most women didn't work and the average home was a little less than 1200 sq. ft.  Today the average home is over 1800 square ft (1/3 larger).  In 1960 familys could only afford one car and one tv.  Today most homes have 2+ tv's and 2 vehicles plus many have atv's and boats.  We wanted more so women went to work.  We still wanted more so we imported cheaper products.  We created our own problems.  Imported products are basically cheaper than domestically produced thus more problems.  This is one reason trade has been pushed.  Cheaper products.  We trade our coal, food, and lumber to them.  Energy is our biggest problem.  We could cut over half our trade deficit by cutting out imported oil.

When I get a chance I will list a dozen or more patents from over the last 20 - 30 years that would have cut our need for such had they not been bought by big oil and big gov and sit on. Fact is we are dependent on foreign oil because our controllers want it that way... why else could they fight for it if we did not need it.

1)  We could cut 40% of oil imports by switching fleet vehicles to compressed natural gas (cng).  This could be done within 5 years.

2)  We could have 20-25% of vehicles switched to diesel in another 5 years.  You make 20 gallons of gasoline out of a barrel of crude, but 27 gallons of diesel out of a barrel of crude.  More fuel per barrel, more miles per gallon, thus cutting most of the remaining imports.  Germany already does this with 85% of their cars running diesel, they basically cut their imports in half by doing so.

3)  We can make synthetic oil, diesel, and gasoline from our abundant coal reserves and from greenhouse grown algae.

4)  In order to save our coal for synthetic fuels and plastics, we could build 100 new nuclear power plants in the next 20 years and have no coal buring plants, cleaner air.

5)  Additional power can be made from wind, tides, and solar.

All this can be transitioned in 20 years, no new technology, just common sense approaches.

Once the trade deficit is fixed by our own energy production, then a lot of our other problems will begin to be fixed, like good energy related jobs with benefits like health care.

TM7 , no one told me, I'm smart enough and informed enough to think for myself.

Matt, no confusion here; perhaps more experience with fear. There's a difference between fear of what could be and fear of what is.

Matt,

9-11 was a conspiracy since there was more than 1 person involved. So that point must be accepted by everyone. However, I don't think you should put everyone who either outright rejects the notion that the conspiracy was an inside job by the Bush administration or those of us who are open to other theories all in the same "box".

Many of us hate what our government has become and completely distrust it. We also believe that our government has and is capable of doing just about anything immoral and or unethical to support its end goals. We just may have a higher threshold of facts that must be offered to make us believe that 9-11 was in fact an inside job.

Hello Everyone
On the subject of oil.  We have more oil in this country than the rest of the world combined.  The Bakken find and under the Rockies.
Refer to US Geological Surveys.  The so called conservation groups are preventing us from getting it through their lobbyists. So the Arab oil cartels profit. We have all the oil we need right here.  Now maybe the right people have not been able to buy the land titles yet to control it.
And on the subject of our governments leadership refer to the URL posted below. Its an eye opener.

The short answer is that we don't have the willingness to say "NO and go clean up your own mess" or the guts to stomp & conquer areas as they need/deserve.

i agree to having a least a minimun of the threshold on the facts..i personally do not believe there was a conspiracy and had read all i could and nothing yet meets my modest threshold.

i am well aware of the underhanded and sometimes evil actions of our government over the years. however, i do believe that some of these evil deeds were in the best interest of our nation.

So that means that you read the 911 commission report, the FEMA report and the NIST report... AND YOU DONT SEE A PPROBLEM? Please go back and re-read them and pay attention this time. Even the OFFICIAL REPORTS say that the theory purposed has a LOW probability of being correct.... HOW THE HELL CAN YOU ARGUE WITH THAT? When their own reports say they don’t have a clue... but yet you don’t care do you... I have read every page of all 3 reports and IT DONT ADD UP...

i am well aware of the underhanded and sometimes evil actions of our government over the years. however, i do believe that some of these evil deeds were in the best interest of our nation.

Please name one of the evil underhanded things that you speak of that has benefited the US population as a whole and NOT the Big Gov/ Big Biz lobbyist.

You are right Cabin... I apologize for that as I feel you and I are in the same book just on different pages at the moment but I have hopes you will find the page I am on soon enough...

Many of us hate what our government has become and completely distrust it. We also believe that our government has and is capable of doing just about anything immoral and or unethical to support its end goals. We just may have a higher threshold of facts that must be offered to make us believe that 9-11 was in fact an inside job.

And I do to... just ask TM7... Back when he first started talking about 911 being an inside job I threaten to ban him on principle but then decided to beat him with facts.... problem was I could not because they are not there... none that support the official story anyway...

At the very least, I think they knew it was coming and did nothing.  Just like the guy at Ft. Hood.  They had warnings, but did nothing.  They made mistakes, and played the blame game on someone else.

I think we need to become energy independent as soon as possible.  Then, anything the military or the federal or state governments buy has to be made in the USA.  Uniforms, guns, shoes, boots, computers, cars, trucks, anything.  This would force some companies to bring their factories back home.  This would also ensure us a supply of goods and equipment in event of some type of war or catastrophe.  We also do not need to import food.  We can produce 90+% of everything we eat and raise the rest in greenhouses.  I also read where we could produce all of our oil from algae grown in greenhouses that would cover an area the size of Rhode Island.  That is a very small state.  It is carbon neutral since algae takes it out of the air, then puts in back when it is burned. No additional carbon.  When I was talking about 1960, back then 25%-35% of all workers were union.  We made everything, and were prosperous with a rising middle class.

Our dollar is falling falling. Predictable that the dollar will collapse. Its conceivable that we will be pulled, kicking and screaming into a NWO, by having to use a global currency, which much of the rest of the "global" buddies will demand. They will refuse to do business in dollars. China is already calling for a different currency for global business. The beginning of the end. China holds much of our debt. Right now they are "The Bank." We can't afford to be the world police, but we can't afford not to. Global terrorism has affected our lives, our families, our soil. I agree that cyber terrorism will be THE threat, unless we back down on our national security.

Indeed. And if the dollar aint worth anything, how do Americans pay for goods and services? Unless you have 40 acres, chickens, and your own water source and energy source, heating source, you will be on the streets. If you remember history, this should sound familiar. Bartering only goes so far.

Being the world's police is strictly a consequence of national prosperity. If we couldn't afford it, we'd find a more economical way of protecting our interests abroad. When the full effects of socialism kick in, the country will be too poor for that lavish indulgence.
Questor, i agree, quite a bit, but with a twist. However, when the effects of what you call socialism take affect, people will have better education, better access to health care, more secure jobs, and less stress; the corporations, lobbyinsts, oil companies, and corrupt bankers will have less power, which is good, because they will push less for more wars.

Re the economy, take construction for a moment. Somebody tell us about the US lumber shortage and where we get our steel for framing? it's cheaper to buy foreign steel than reopen businesses in the US; tell is why? Construction labor in most states is nearly half illegal immigrants, tell us why? If we stopped policing the Arab peninsula, Indian ocean and the pacific, what effect would that have on construction?

Here's a challenge for you that like to research: pick a single industry and identify the effect of isolation or nonintervention on that single industry. Every one I've researched dead ends at the selfishness of an American, not some evil cabal. But I've not done them all ...

Tell me why the USA has to be the world police?

It does not have to. But we would have to work harder and longer and spend more money for peace and making friends, we would have to accept the world as it is more often, we would have to get rid of our ideas that we are the perfect God chosen country and that everyone should be like us, we would have to leave the stick home and not just speak softly but truthfully, we would have to stop mingling into other people's bussiness for our own financial interests...

Did you know that Kermit Roosevel (Teddy Roosevelts nephew) overtrew with the help of CIA a perfectly democratic and secular government in Iran in the 1950s? They did that to gain access to oil. Imagine how the world and history would have been now...
For example, on one hand we want to rid the world of dictators and spread democracy, on the other hand we support one of the most ridiculous and backward regimes in the world in Saudi Arabia.

Construction labor in most states is nearly half illegal immigrants, tell us why?
That is an easy question: Cheap, dirt cheap, disposable, labor without any rights. Call them the new slaves.
Plus, they multiply and consume. That's exactly what this system wants (see image above): cheap labor and lots of consumers and consumption.
Without them, USA would stagnate at 300 million people, which would be great because we could focus on fixing poverty, education, health, and environmental problems. With the illegals, the USA will grow to 350 million people by 2040, but that is good for bussiness: lots of cheap labor and eager consumers.

From the Napoleonic wars in the early 1800's until WWI, Britian was the worlds police.  Noone messed with them during this time.  With the exception of the French and Indian War and our Revolutionary War and Napoleon, Britian ruled the waves after the Spanish Armada defeat in 1588.  Their is no real vacuum.  The most powerful nation usually has to police the world at the time.  We inherited the problem after WWII since there was a void between WWI and WWII that wasn't filled causing WWII.  If we step down from this position, then someone else will step in or there will be numerous wars around the world trying to fill in the void in their spheres of influence.  China, Japan, India, the European Union, Iran, always someone.

Can someone please tell me how these are bad things:
  • Closing our northern and southern borders temporarily while we get the illegal’s out.
  • Imposing exactly the same tariffs and taxes on imports as the originating country imposes on our imports to them.
  • Make new laws that follow closer to the rest of the world when it comes to property ownership and immigration laws.
  • Do completely away with a 2 party only political system and place major restriction on political contributions.
  • Limit congress to 2 terms max per 10 years and do away with career politian’s as well as their retirement system and benefits.
  • Reinstate the 10th amendment and live by it
  • End welfare and other social programs in the capacity that they are and enforce a strict 6 month max on state assistance to healthy able bodied citizens.
  • Abolish the FEDERAL RESERVE and realign the IRS to tax businesses only as allowed in the Constitution.
  • Revisit the Interstate Commerce Act and clarify what does and does not fit into it if not doing away with it all together.
  • Audit all lobbyist groups and find out which politians are on their payroll and pursue criminal charges against all of them if not treason charges.
  • Open independent investigations into 911, WACO, Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City, Gulf of Tonkin and many other “False Flag” and “Un-Constitutional” operations and pursue charges against all involved.
  • Phase out the current dollar with a congressional issued GOLD backed one as required by the CONSTITUION.
  • Recall our troops from most all overseas deployments where the hosting country has an established government and military.
  • Eliminate the CIA, DHS, BATF and a few other alphabet agencies.
  • Remove Federal restriction on Medical insurance and treatments.
  • Promote healthy, free and  independent living free of social programs
  • End Military involvement in domestic affairs.
  • Offer businesses that generate their own power a federal tax break based on amount generated.
  • Promote renewable energy for business, residential and government uses.
  • Revisit the Controlled Substance Act and reclassify many of the “Drugs” covered under it
  • Release all people in federal prison or jail on simple drug possession charges. (Federal Charges only)

There is a laundry list of other things that need attention and change but I will save them for a later reply.
