Gun Control Plan

Is this part of Obama's big plan to lead this country into a socialist state?

OBAMA TO REVERSE GUN POLICY
Mon Nov 2, 2009, 12:54am
Obama Takes First Step in Banning All Firearms

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major
step in a plan to ban  all firearms in the United States .

The Obama administration  intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all
weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing  international treaties on gun control, the Obama
administration can use the US  State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress.

Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US  citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These  are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the  United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg.

The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban  and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is  attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major  damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has  happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not  intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States)
that will lead to new  gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary
of State, Hillary  Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and
foreign gun control  laws.

Does that mean Obama is telling the truth?

What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates  in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the
United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition
manufacturers from selling to the public.

We will wake up  another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty
that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership.

And then, we will wake up yet  another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US  citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local
government collection and  destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke  nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will
be forced on us by  the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on  treaty to regulate arms trade  WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States  reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back
launching talks on a treaty  to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance  critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced  in a statement released by the U.S. State Department,
overturns the position of  former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a  treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

After that third morning it won't much matter to a lot of us anyway.
We will no longer be here to defend the CONSTITUTION.
We will have fought our battle on the third day and probably have lost!
The question is will there be enough left to fight on the fourth day, from either side?

When the prez and the Senate joinly sign and pass ANY treaty that violates the US Constitution they become TRAITORS to this nation. They should be treated as such and given the normal penalties applying to traitors.

It's really long overdue that Americans take back our government from the traitors and put it back on track and put the Constitution back in its rightful place as the law of the land. That might require dusting off the even older Declaration of Independence of course.

I guess the only part that makes sense to me is that regardless of what they do the only way they will get my guns is after I am dead.
I can't control what happens after that!
So they can agree or pass whatever they want, they will anyway weather we want it or not, I just don't have to abide by it.
They may know about most of what I have but they don't know about all that I have or where it may be.

No to be honest, none of it makes any sense anymore.
The government has gotten so far out of control that who knows if or when it can ever be corrected.

OK, so what this means to me is that if guns are outlawed, by whatever treaty or legislation, then American gun owners will be outlaws.  Fine with me.  I would rather live as a outlaw than as a subject.

So bring it on bama-man.  Go right ahead and bring in the foreign troops to sit among the burned out rubble of cities that will be the once and former home to your socialistic throngs.

Bring it on chicago boy, I've been waiting for you commies to make your move, although I am a pre-emtive sob.  I just can't wait to hear all the wailin' and cryin' of the liberals when newspapers get burned, homes and businesses destroyed and your people forced into shelters similar to the Katrina fiasco - now that's where you can stuff yer for-in troops.

Go right ahead and protect your stinkhole cities; we will control the countryside, food production and the flow of water and electricity.  When the time comes your people will just starve in their burned the cities or beg for peace.  You can have your brown shirt thugs, who have never gotten their hands dirty, clean the streets afterward.

The liberals wanted change - be careful of what you ask for, as what you get may not be what you wanted. Seems redundant to say that I've been waiting for this, eh.

I think I'm missing something.  The article dealt with import and export treaties so far as I could tell.
It further seemed to give any state (read: country) the power to veto it. (Which I would think would be the death of it.)

Am I for it? Not really. It will cut back on the income and thus political clout of the U.S. gun manufacturers.

I guess it could also result in a ban of small arms imported into this country, but I'm not even sure that is a complete loss...hey, might force some foreign gun manufacturers to open operations here and provide more jobs and strengthen the political clout of the US small arms industry! ;D

Just some thoughts on it.

I know that Brazil said they would not sign it.  They need guns in the Amazon.  They also export a lot of Rossi's and Taurus's.

Well said Mikey!

How long do you think the liberal scum in their utopian villages will last when the big transmission lines tumble to the ground? Do they think their UN soldiers even with modern weaponry will be able to compete with with our National Guard backed by millions of armed citacen militia? It would only be weeks before their warm, bright utopian cities turn into a cold dark prison full of hunger, thirst and disease.

I say let them try we have needed this confriontation for too long.

Bingo, that is the type of scenario I'm talking about.  As irresponsible as we may view some countries, too many need weapons or need to export them.

This is actually a serious threat.

The US is already in negotiations on stuff like this with Copyrights specifically.  In at least one case the agreement that we are looking at possibly entering into (again on copyrights but the principal could be used elsewhere) was merely deemed "secret" due to "national security concerns" and without reading a leaked copy citizens are not privy to the agreement that our government is considering entering into.

Does anyone know the credentials of this website?  Boy, sure do seem to be a lot of secrets discovered in this forum, I never knew there were so many. Maybe I should join the ranks of the paranoid.  Ooops. Shouldn't have written that, they're watching, you know.
