Snow and pheasents
« on: November 14, 2009, 04:18:32 PM »
It started snowing last night here in South Korea, its been pretty nice and then bam cold and snowy. My wife and I saw  some really nice pheasents yesterday up in the mountains. Quite large compared to the ones we have back in Idaho and very britely colored.
What did you do today...for Freedom?
Today, at the front, he died...Today, what did you do? Next time you see a list of dead and wounded, ask yourself: "What have I done for freedom? What can I do tomorrow that will save the lives of men like this and help them win the war?"

Aren't they native there? My brother was stationed at Kusan(sp?) Air Force base a few years ago and the sudden snow sounds familiar. Can you pheasant hunt there? Oh, and I am the highest scoring civilian bowler at the base bowling alley at the Mt.Home AFB...lol.  ;D

I enjoyed pheasant hunting, but never could acquire a taste for them. :(
