Starting in the 2011 bird hunting season here in Washington State bird hunters will be required to use
non-lead shot in alot of selected hunting areas. The writing is on the wall and I figure it won't be long until it will be state-wide for all hunting. I have a Pardner 12ga as well as the 12ga turkey (camo - fixed tight full choke). These were bought within the last 4 years and wonder if steel shot would be bad for them or maybe the bismuth shot. Feel it won't be long till lead shot will be illegal here in Washington and probably spread to other states.

(this is for pheasant, quail etc hunting, any suggestions on which shot would be best for pheasant etc???)
