 On Saturday 11/7/09 I bought a Tracker II 20 ga serial # NU for $150 only shot one time before I bought it. Good deal! Monday I dropped it of at my gunsmiths to have him drill and tap and mount a scope rail. he called me Friday afternoon to tell it was done. I picked it up Saturday morning. When I got home I mounted a 2X Tru Glo red dot on it and bore sighted it. I then set up a 6" shoot n c at 25 yards. Using Lightfield hybrid express the first shot was low and left just off the target. I adjusted it up and right. The second shot was dead center. I had another 6" shoot n c at 65 yards. The first shot at that one was dead center and 1.5" high the next two shots were touching the first hole.
 Our shotgun season for deer here in N.Y. starts this coming Saturday,I can't wait to get this gun out in the tree stand!

I have all our Tracker II's drilled and tapped with either 20 mm Weavers or 20 mm Leupolds on them. Darn good deer killin' machines in a lightweight easy to shoulder and swing package. You are gonna take a real liking to the Tracker II. Ours like the 3" Winchester Partition Gold sabots. Here is a pic of two of ours.

Carbineman the deal I got came with 4 boxes of the Lightfields and they shoot good. Going to stick with them for now, might try some others in the off season.

 Carbineman is the bottom one in the picture a 12 ga ? and if so how is the recoil ?

If the Lightfiels work ok for you...you should also get good results from the Rem Buckhammers and the Hastings slugs all three of them are pretty much the same design and much lower cost than the true sabot's. Kurt

No both 20 guages (we use only 20 guages) and they produce more recoil than I care to deal with as a steady diet. When bench shooting I use a bath towel folded up a bunch of times to lessen felt recoil and simulate my heavy hunting parka.

   Hey folks, any chance of people posting pictures of there groups here?  Spikehorn sent me pictures of the groups he shot with the Tracker he got from me but being computer stupid i couldn't open them.  >:(

20 ga. is all you need. 12's kick too much and don't kill 'em any deader. ;)

Spanky I agree The only time I use my 12 ga anymore is when we are driving deer cause it's a pump. My 16 year old kid is in his macho phase and wants the 12 ga this season, and hasn't shot it yet and season starts tomorrow, i think the first time it scopes him he will change his mind.

Yuup, 20 ga. Is all I want to use also. I'll be taking the Tracker II out tomorrow for the Wisconsin opener.

Did you swap out the wood for synthetic? All the trackers I have seen have wooden stocks. If so where did you find them?

Get you a micro SD Card (buy at walmart for $10=$20) to put into your phone. You can't move the pics. you already have but any new ones you take you can then put the card into your computer and load them.

Charliet thanks my kid and my wife both have the micro sd chips in their phones it never occurred to me. By the way got a good sized doe with the Tracker II Saturday morning. double lung shot at about 70 yards she went about 40 yards and piled up.

You can order that style buttstock direct from Choate Machine and Tool or H&R.

Yuup, Like Mike said you can order them from H&R. I sold my pallet wood sets here on GBO classifieds or traded them for the synthetics.
