New LCR
« on: November 18, 2009, 02:11:48 AM »
Picked up my new LCR yesterday.  So far I'm quite impressed.  I like the way it feels in my hand...good grip.  This is my first and only DAO revolver and I was surprised(pleasantly) at my trigger control.  I ran a couple of cylinders of 38 wadcutters through her last night.  I had no trouble popping a soda can at 7-10yds.  My only other experience with a snubbie was an old Colt Agent years ago. :D

From what Ive read folks seem to like the Ruger LCR.  The ones I have handled did feel good in the hand and they certainly are light.  Would be easy to make that one disappear.

Sounds like you can shoot yours pretty well.  Like you I'd be worried about my trigger control and accuracy with a double action.

Good shooting

I surprised myself by how little I moved the revolver while pulling the double action.  It's like a two stage trigger...first part of the pull cocks the action...pause...then break it off!!!
