Crimp or no crimp

PJ,
I ask the same question when I first got that barrel so I ran a test.  I think if you chrono you loads you will find that when using H110 and other slow burning powders that the biggest difference you will find is wide shot to shot variations.  I got from 185 to 250 fps difference from shot to shot when I did not roll crimp.

i would say a good crimp and magnum primers for slow burning powders, just as 44 mag.
