Does anybody have any experience with these pump rifles? Accuracy, reliability, stuff like that?

let me know if anyone bites, I got a buddy that keeps talking about getting one

he's in his mid forties and his some serious spinal problems from hips to skull, anyways his neck is degenerating so bad he sold his pride and joy 30-06, went down to 243 for serious work but is actually relying on a 223 now usually just to keep his neck from acting up (recoil puts him down fast)

.357 mag would have to be alright, and it has the surface area to do the job in a nasty fashion with a max load of H-110 pushing a 125grs projectile
the test guns for that data are ten inches but a carbine... it just makes me smile so hard.  I wonder though, how will max load .357's actually hold up on impact up close??  I bet they blow up big, I've done ALMOST max loads of that recipe out of a ported four inch revolver and it frags like crazy upon impact with two liter bottles full of soapy water.

I have no actual experience with these whatsoever, but I really wanted one - can't hunt deer with them in my state, but what a fun shooter, and great home defense gun - I read a lot of reviews and personal experiences on bulletin boards.  Based on what I read, they can be a little finicky and unreliable.  Take it for what it's worth, for as I said, I have no actual experience with these rifles.  I'll tell you, though, if they had a 16 inch barrel version, I'd have already bought one regardless of any other issues.

with christmas coming up, my buddy might beat you to buying one... send me a message/notification at about that time if you haven't heard back from me... maybe he'll do it

can't use pistol calibers on deer????  what's up with the goofy hunting laws in some states?  I'm not bashing, just asking.  the only thing weird in MO is not being able to shoot bucks with long spikes and crappy immature antlers but short spikes and good antlers are okay (there is a grading system but I just summed it up)
