The Louisiana purchase..
« on: November 20, 2009, 01:49:46 PM »
Harry Reid needs Landrieu's vote to push his "helth care" plan through. Landrieu has been holding out because she claims she doesn't like the public health care abortion provisions..it's "for the children" you know...
But Herry Reid, with a $100,000,000 of our tax dollars (to be levied on our grandkids)..has made a "Louisiana Purchase". Now Landrieu effectively says " let the children be snuffed, I'll take the hundred million bucks".
So how will the gradnchildren pay for it if they liquidate half of them?

It's actually worse than that. This story emerged on 11/4 on NPR.org (national public radio), where several democrat politicians were singled out as getting little or no help from the party in their re-election efforts unless they voted for the health care bill. Landrieu was one of them.

ERRRR...UUHHHH... they will have to pay twice as much. The good news is that when they go for their abortions the line will be half as long!

I keep hoping/Praying that God will intervene here soon but that may prove to be the end of the world as we know it!

Love the Title, Pete!

"The Louisiana Purchase", which on the news this morning was dubbed: "The Louisiana Purchase", was POORLY HIDDEN, on the health care vote agenda. It seems the senators piled a bunch of stipulations onto the TLP to make it look like it was for MANY STATES, but with the criteria REQUIRED to qualify for a portion of the $100,000,000,000.00 only Lousianna met the criteria.
BUT! Us all being too stupid to realize this, the senators are just tickled to death that they put one over on us AGAIN. ::) But it will probably work anyway.

If bribing legislators with taxpayers money for their vote isn't corruption and ethically criminal--what the hell is?  I wonder what ever happened to the pledge that this Congress would be the most ethical and transparent ever.  I can't believe that our politicians would lie to us.

Maybe the most disgusting thing about it is that even some Republicans have stated that it's not illegal--it's done all the time.  Lawmaking shouldn't be exempt from legality and ethics.

The Republicans AND the Democrats have created a monopoly on the elections system. They have convinced the population, that you simply must be in one camp, or the other. It is their means of control, and to indoctrinate in such a way. That way, both parties are assured of, THEIR TURN IN CONTROL, and the American voter COLLECTIVELY, has swallowed the bait. The American voters themselves are now part of the process of, slowly dismantling America a little at a time, thru the process of, voting for the lessor of two evils, EVERY ELECTION.
The saddest truth of all, is they are convinced, that it is their only chance of "change", when the word "change" does in no way fit the process. "Redundancy" is the key word in this collective voting strategy.
The Republican and Democratic elected, don't have to listen. They have nothing to fear. VOTE EITHER OUT, AND THEY WILL BE REPLACED, BY THE OTHER. Democrat makes you mad? Replace him with a Republican. Republican makes you mad? Replace him with a Democrat. So simple, yet so misunderstood. :'(

And the beat goes on! It's the same Ole picture all over America. I come from a large family. I had three brothers and four sisters. We were divided right (and left) down the middle when it came to politics.I was on the Republican side for many years, until I decided to think for myself, and quit choosing sides.

That was about the same time I quit watching the propaganda tube, stopped listening to Limblow and discovered the WWW.Lots of great info, and truth on here, if you just take time look for it.

Most of my family members are so wrapped up in their party politics, they go for weeks or so without even talking to each other. Both sides will talk to me, because they think I'm a little touched in the head for not choosing their  side, and need guidance. "Bless their hearts" ;D

  Oldshooter;
I can't take credit for the title..believe it was somebody on Fox..but we will probably never know for sure.
One thing for sure though, we had better make note of who is voting for these Constitution-crushing moves being made against the people by the Obama crowd..and make sure they are tossed out in 2010.. Elect somebody that can beat them out!

I'm sure somebody here knows the correct name for the people that that vet and approve candidates for their party whether it is local,State or Federal.

That is the bunch that puts these lefties on the ballot and will not consider anything that is really conservative and that is the bunch whose feet should be held over a slow fire. >:( IMO of course.
