Question
« on: November 22, 2009, 01:05:50 PM »
Was the A-Bolt ever available as a custom gun manufactured in Belgium.  A guy has a rifle (I have not seen it) that he claims is an A-Bolt made in Belgium.  I think that he likely has a BBR Lightning Bolt but he insists it is an A-Bolt.  What do you guys think?

I don't see how an A-Bolt could be "manufactured" in Belgium since the gun is and always has been manufactured in Japan by Miroku. However, the Browning custom shop is in Leige, Belgium and if it was a custom shop gun, it would have come from there. Is it possible that the custom shop customized an existing A-Bolt? The BBR was also manufactured in Japan by Miroku.
