Lou Dobbs running for President??
« on: November 23, 2009, 11:51:44 AM »
Just got thru reading a Fox news article that Lou Dobbs is exploring the idea of running for President. I know I like his view points on illegal immagration, business and security. I read where he chaged his political stand to be on the Independent party in New Jersey. He was sick of what was happening to the other 2. Maybe a possibility here.  gypsyman

Now that Harold Stassen and  Pat Paulson and gone, and Ralph Nader is in need of a successor, perhaps Dobbs could be the next perennial candidate.

I sent CNN a message that I only watched their network 1 hr. per day (Lou Dobbs) now never.
Not only does Lou Dobbs take a stand against illegal immigration he is a staunch supporter of rights for gun owners.
Remember when that guy from Wisconsin was on trial for selling an Olympic AR and the gun fired off 3 rounds and he was accused of selling an illegal machine gun by the BATF?
It was Lou Dobbs who kept the story up for months until the poor gun went to jail, and he kept asking, where is the NRA?
He seems like a real person, not one of those Eastern Ivy league phonies.
I would consider voting for him.  Listen to what he has to say.

We need people like Lou Dobbs doing what he is doing now! His voice is a very important one in the media. view points alone do not qualify him as Presidential material.

We had a candidate in the last primary election, that was more than qualified for the job, and no one would give him the time of day. No need to even mention his name,I think most know who that man was.

Why is everyone so focused on the person to occupy the Big House?
What we really need to concentrate on, is getting rid of the criminal's in the House and Senate.
These are the sorry SOB's that have allowed us to sink to this level, and given the Criminal in Chief, the power to finish us off.

Hunter, you are correct. It was the Democrats in congress,(Frank,Schumer,Pelosi, etc.) were alot of the blame is to go. The president will take the blame, like a quarterback, but there are alot of other players on the field. gypsyman

much to much of a first step. get into the House then the Senate. A run for the WH isn't going anywhere but ensure Dems. victory and you can't have that in 2012 under any circumnstance.

If he sets up a website to take donations, I'll send him 10 bucks as a "vote of confidence". Every time I send someone a "vote of confidence" I have hopes they will gain momentum and I can then do more. It is better odds than a lottery ticket (I hope). Just keep pluging and hopeing. eddiegjr

BBF, look at who this country has elected in the past. Arnold had no experience, and he's doing a fine job of screwing up the biggest state in the union. The idiot in the whitehouse had HOW, much experience. I believe that Dobbs has a better handle that those 2 combined. Not saying he's the one, but, I believe he's better than what alot of them are right now. gypsyman

He got elected because Californians were sick and tired of rhe Democrat Governor prior and didn't realize when the elected Arnold who is married into a influential Democrat family is in fact onbe of the worst RINO's you can have.

I like Lou, he was the only CNN porgram I watched and he certainly has a better handle andintentions then your present man in the WH. He would get the true conservatrive vote, perhaps even the middle of the road bunch and that isn't near enough to get him into the WH.

There are a number of seats in the House or Senate coming up in 2010 and 2012 in States that have shaky Dems on them now. That is where he should look, IMO of course :)
