What calibers
« on: November 26, 2009, 05:36:13 AM »
What calibers is the 336 made in?   Was at the local dealer and he said he could not get 30-30 ammo. Walmart has not either. Want something cheap to shoot without reloading for it.

The 336 is made in 2 cal at this time 30-30 and 35 rem both are easy to find at a good gun shop. Be aware that marlin also mfg. 2 guns in this 336 one is eastern hardwood stained and the other is american black walnut and checkered, rifle is the same only difference is the wood one is nicer looking than the other.
I have both these cal.

Thanks DEACONLLB.  This guy stocks probably over two hundred rifles and shotguns. Also lots of ammo. He was on the phone when i got there and said he was calling to find  30-30 ammo and could get none.  Don't know what model the Marlin was that he had but he wanted $400 for it. He was very busy that day so i didn't ask him if i could see it a little closer. Thanks again.
