Last saturday I was looking at a 140 class 9 point for a while. The sun was coming from my left and was gleaming off the rifles deep blue and shiny poly finish. The buck noticed it and walked toward me till he could make me and my rifle out then took off. I wasn't planning on shooting him anyway but if he'd of been a big buck I would still have gotten him as it took 15 minutes for him to notice me. So I wiped the metal and stock down with wood alcohol, let it dry, taped plastic to the scope and across the port. I didn't paint the trigger gaurd or the bottom of the magazine yet planning to use a brush for the fine work. I used flat gray for the background and flat brown for the contrast. Truly not pretty but that is the point.
