Mystery meat
« on: November 29, 2009, 01:27:52 PM »
Hello everyone,
Today I swapped Lon371 some deer bratwursts for some venison we had in the freezer from last year.  But that's not all......There's some mystery meat in there too.  Let's all see how long it is before Lon371 figures out what he has.  ;) I sure hope he likes it!  ;) ;D

Any guesses???  I will give you all a hint, it's not skunk. ;)

ok, we studied a mystery package stuck in with the venison. It is a big freezer bag with water and .. well uh uh one part looks to have tenicles? another part looks to be tail end of a fish. Wife says octopus :D I am going to guess some sort of fish?

But I should know this week. I am curious now. It is on the menu for supper one night this week ;)

Thanks Dinny I think.

You have a safe trip home.

Well, I gotta tell ya.  Just got in from a trip late last night, and checked in here, read the above, and was surprised!  This morning after a little rest I see I misread the "tenicles" part.   ???  Imagine my suprise!   ::)  My first thought was, Dinny has come across a nuclear waste spill somewhere and decided to share with his buddy.  I see now that I was wrong.  At least I hope so, but that hasn't been confirmed yet has it?

Even spotted owl doesn't taste like chicken.  Squid maybe?

I just looked at the first pic a little closer-don't ask me why and there looks like a little alien face looking up from the lower left corner. Did you guys shoot down a spaceship over there?

Does anyone else see the alien baby? I could say more but afraid it would be in "Bad Taste"  pun intended ;D

I saw something just like that in a Korean BBQ once.  I didn't eat it.  I also didn't ask.

Not Armadillo I am pretty sure. ;)

Sounds like the wifey is a very observant lady.  :D

I don't know for sure what this thing is but my first question would be, Is this something Dinny hunted down and shot or is it something he "found" maybe along a road.  Then again I haven't given up on the nuclear waste spill theory.  ::)

Bigvarmint, not sturgeon(is kinda lumpy like that though)

Old Syko, Not sure on the road kill theory. Part of the critter is missing though ??? Oh yeah I took it in a dark room and it is not glowing ;)

Big varmint, you will have to blame my wife on the last picts. She insisted I post more ;D

Stick that critter, whatever it is, on a big ol' hook, hang it over the dock for sharks   :o   or off a good tree limb in the river for turtle or catfish.  THEN you know what ya got!   ;D

Lonny, I'll call you later in the week when I get down yonder.  If you're still livin' after molesting and barbequing that alien we'll go get some real food.   ;)
