CRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAPPP! How can expressing ones opinion on a given situation be construed as being upset? Good grief, I don't even know these people, I feel bad that they died, and have an opinion on what set the thing up, but being blunt and to the point in giving my opinion is upset? I have given up on most and really don't care what anyone does as long as they don't do it in my yard without asking first.
No offense TM, but I have got a pretty good handle on what the street is really like, not what most THINK its like, and after 20 years in the legal system I think I got that one figured out to. Everyone seems to want to be a psychologist these days.

 i still think this is the type person that could be used to do something like this..especially at this particular time,,when they are desperate to sway the people against guns..his type are just too easily used..
 to live the life he has ,,hes unbalanced anyway.. thats who the anti gunners  will use.. thier not dummies. jmo slim
 take it easy on dee .. hes spent a life time in the middle of the criminal element..

the rules are static but the applications aren't.... how about this, we just hang them after they fail to overturn a conviction via appeal (assuming they don't get acquitted or found to be innocent)... just hang them right after the case is over with.

it's quick and effecient, and while we don't get to see them hurt, the rush from court to noose would have them crying and that would be some small (sick) comfort... for me anyways.  maybe that's still constitutional hypocrisy?

law enforcement is an honorable profession that does guarantee exposure to many of america's worst citizens.. on both sides of the bar.  I don't think that's the greater point though.  being exposed to the human condition under any circumstances should "wise-up" anyone after enough time- be they judges, cops, jailers, military- homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes, abusive families... the question is do you continue to act according to your beliefs and values, or do you act relative to the people you deal with?  I have known for some time that scum should be treated as such if possible, opening my heart for a terd won't get me any good karma or favor with jesus, it will get me taken advantage of.  reality sets in for everyone eventually- probably early on for Dee.  Dee's wise enough to just say it how it is- doesn't mean he's a cold old curmudgeon- it means he's not a fool.  I wish I had cops like dee around here... most are fat/gross/nerdy types that don't scream warrior/righteous/strong to me in appearance or action.

              We just had a cop killed here. He did a traffic stop and the guy blew his head off. The guy that killed him had no criminal  record, only some traffic tickets. He is a pharmacist and his wife is a pharmacist. They have kids and live in a nice part of town.
  Everyone is scratching their heads, trying to figure out why.

True, some people do snap, we had a chiropracter here who just went to some old mans house and beat him half to death. He would have finished the job if the mans son wouldn't have showed up and shot the guy in the knee. Too bad he didn't put one through the guys brain, now we have to feed and house the scumbag for many years.

But this story is about a scumbag that was caught many times before and was repeatedly let go to victimise others. I'm for the death penalty for all repeat offenders, I understand that everyone can make mistakes, even big ones, but when it becomes a way of life for someone they desreve to die.
