Well I've sighted in and checked the ammo several times.Won't clean the gun until it's over. Also my back pack and junk belt. You know the one with all the compartments that hold more things than you need to take out with you.Yep there all full to the top and will barely snap shut.Back pack has three hats, four sets of gloves, rattel horns, grunt tubes and doe bleat calls, doe pee,Tink's 69,two boxes of shells(in case they attack me) and some cover scent.Oh almost for got the heat pads.Going to be cold opening morning.Checked that my insulated bibs still fit.A little snugger than I remember.Coat and vest are some what smaller too.Wife must of washed every thing in hot water.Might of been too much Turkey and dressing.Nahh, had to be hot water.Got the gun in the hard case and into the back of my work van.Want it to be at outside temp.Don't want to fog the scope up.Damn had to go back out and make sure the scope was clean. Two days to go now.Went out and set up my pop up blind over the weekend.Brushed it in pretty well, but the wind is suppose to be blowing hard on Wednesday. It'll be all bare by then.Hopefully the new to me Handi 270 will score on opening morning.Plenty of sign and saw seven does on Saturday when I went out and set up.Only bummer is the farmer does not have the wheat planted yet.I'll be looking over a cut bean field and into the woods by the river crossing.Last year the wheat was grazing the deer real well.Well guys and gals here's to every one having a fun and safe hunt.Nice thing is i can still make breakfast at the local diner and be in my stand by 6:00.Slow

I know most of you were shaking your head in agreement with my check list too.
