Side Swing Hammer
« on: December 01, 2009, 12:15:03 AM »
Can a side swing hammer be fitted to an Encore frame with a standard hammer?

Thanks

Yes, TC will retrofit your frame with one.  Don't know the cost or turn-around.  Also don't know if they would send you the hammer.

That would be a factory install only.  I just called them the other day when oreding parts for a friend's Encore.  The hammer was $70 and I believe they were going to charge for labor.
It's all a hot mess...........

That's a lot of money to avoid buying a $10 hammer extension (that sticks out more so it should be easier to grab)!

Details on the swing hammer installation are on TC's customer service page.
