30 herrett
« on: October 21, 2003, 01:00:26 PM »
I just picked up a great deal on a 30 herrett 10 inch barrel , It will probally be a while before I can load for this one as I have one in progress and 2 more waiting ahead of it .
I have looked at load data and the herrett appears to very closely match its parent case the 30-30, Is there any avantage over the parent case ?
Is there a good rechamber for the 10 inch 30 herrett ?

The 30 Herrett was my first Contender barrel that I purchased about 25 years ago. It's a dandy chambering that is optimum for a 10" barrel. With H4227 and 110 gr v-max it works well on non-edible critters and the 125 Nosler BT turns it into a nice deer combination.
