But that's what's good about hunting with a friend it gives you time to talk about the old hunts from the past
Same here but I think that sometimes friends or co-workers think of myself as being too hard on them when I insist that they don't slam the truck doors or talk on the way to the stand location.

Just can't beat areas like this to let you sit up & break your outline at the same time. Also is great (for me) to have something at my back to lock up those crosshairs good n solid. A lot of times one can put elbows on knee's to enhance this. I also hunt many of time flat on my belly amoung the stubble, I dont like a bipod at all as I feel that it takes away from the portability that a rifle needs but many use them with good sucess.
Before I could get the video cam up and on a hawk came in as well at the same time to the caller.
I have called the hawks in for sure but what I really watch for is those Crows. The Crows will often be just ahead of, or just behind the Coyotes. It is great to attract the smaller birds around you and have them make a ruckus as it will add authenticity that there really is an injured critter out there. The one bird that you really need to keep an eye on is that Great Horned Owl. You may end up having to "wave it off" at close range.
