The 338 Marlin Express would be great. Especially since you could use the spire points ala the 338 Federal.

Not to be a downer on you guys, but would it make more business sense for Remington to build handis in calibers that would actually sell? The only one I see on the list that would sell is the 30-30.A longer barrel and a nice laminated or walnut stock would be great, and would sell. You could also do a Camo laminated stock set with a  Buff Classic shape that would be interesting and different.I guess my point is that the things I suggested are things they already have the tooling for, and wouldn't require as much money to get up and running. Please don't get me wrong guys I like weird and different stuff also, but I am in business myself and understand that it makes no real "money sense" for many of these calibers to be built.

I think they need to bring back the Target Classic in .38-55.
Then expand the BC/TC line to include things like the .30-30 BC, octagonal barrels, etc.
I see a bunch of wishes for some of the late 1800's early 1900's rounds. The Handi is a great platform to do it from. Rifle rounds ala the BC/TC flavor and pistol rounds ala BC Carbine.
The only problem H&R has is respect. I feel they could fix this by going big into sponsorship with the SASS. Get a couple of H&R sponsored singleshot only matches started, divided into rifle and carbine classes. Even at the increased pricer of a BC over a standard Handi, you are still going to get into the game a lot cheaper with a BC than you are with the cheapest Hi-wall or Sharps copy you can find.

It's only 22.9% (72 votes).  Would be nice if it was though!  I'd buy one.  Although OSOK makes a very nice arguement for the classic rounds...

44 and 38 special    quiet  loads

you wouldn't  wast you time and money on a can

fast bullzeye  powder  and  a heavy lead  slug....seated  deep in casing

45 acp........more  bore to work  with....smaller case  for consistency

or a great companion   for  those  1911  guys

i didnt vote cause nothing there interest me.30-30 with the 26 inch barrel would be real muzzle heavy(22 inch version is already) 30-40 krag can already be rechambered from the 30-30.257 bob has some interest with me.35 REM would get my vote,i know it could be rechambered from the 357 but new guns are on the shotgun frame so you would have to come up with a new reciever, plus a 35 REM could get a better twist rate than whats in the 357.if i had my choice it would be for one of three or maybe all three LOL.

I would like a 26 inch 30-30 and make mine a BC version! A 44 mag BC carbine would be nice also.
