22 ppc is together and ready for coyote season
« on: October 22, 2003, 05:02:09 AM »
rechambered to a 22ppc from a 7.62X39. it is going to be a major player in coyote calling this season. it weighs only 6.5 lb. with scope.
i will be looking for 3500 fps from 50 gr bullets.
feeding is fine, it holds 6 plus one in the pipe. the barrel was a cz hornet with a 1-15 twist, i limit bullets to 40, 45, and 50's.
i had a 7.62X39 rifle and a 22 hornet barrel from a 17 pee wee conversion. the chamber job was free so i couldn't go wrong with the price.
