What case do you use?
« on: December 04, 2009, 09:46:11 AM »
I'm looking for a way to reasonably transport a Contender carbine with 3 extra, scoped barrels.  Doesn't need to be airline approved, since I doubt I'll ever fly with this setup.  Just something to keep the whole shebang in one place and protected.

Got any suggestions?

I would look at a double rifle hard case. Some of them you can cut the padding to fit the extra barrels  so they stay put. Don't go cheap. But there are some at a decent price.

The Pelican cases are made for the Encore and extra barrels-----They are the best cases I have seen so far. Cabela's makes one that is a copycat and cheaper!!
I do not have one but a friend has one and they are very nice. They are not metal but some kind of polymer.
Check them out
