I remember that my Dad considered putting a Redfield long eye relief scope on his Model 71 Winchester in the early 60's.  He finally decided it wasn't a good idea, and sold the 71 for a Model 88 (he was left handed).  I'm just assuming it was probably from that same era.  I found a 1964 Redfield pocket catalog in my pile of junk that shows a M-294 extended eye relief scope, listed at $49.50.  Unfortunately, the description doesn't include the power or tube diameter.  The picture looks the same, though.  Eye relief is said to be 6 - 10".

One thing that you need to consider with the value of your rifle is the mounting system.  Apparently the scope base came with  a "limited depth drill" to drill the barrel and mount the base.  I'm no expert on gun values, but think that might affect the value of a first production year M-94 if it was mounted that way.
