Mauser bolt handle extension?
« on: December 05, 2009, 02:33:33 PM »
Is there such a thing as a Mauser bolt handle extension?

Some of the regular mil-surp handles are kind of short.  I was thinking of something that could be attached without altering the original handle.

Any thoughts?

in shotgun news there are usually several ads with a bolt handle that you cut the old handle off and drill and tap a hole to attach. look pretty long in picture. not sure about mauser but know they advertise them for mosins. should work on mauser too. for what it's worth and good luck, bubba.
fetch the hammer maggie-they's a bee on the baby's head!

HI. Yes, I've seen the things you mean.  I am talking about something else.  I am referring to something that you would attach to the existing bolt, not a replacement like what you're referring to.

The Mauser in question has a very short bolt that's curved over and it's really hard to grab.
