question on the 410/45 LC survivor
« on: December 06, 2009, 02:07:22 AM »
On the .410 survival guns, does the receiver on them say H&R or NEW England Firearms. I know that the buttstocks have the H&R logo and on my newer tamer it does say H&R on it. I was courious if the one at the pawnshop was put together by someone or factory original. also are the receivers on those oil quenched or blued like the newer ones.
H&R/NEF 10, 12,16 20 28 ,410 .243 45 357 45lc. 1919a4, uzi, sten mK 2,3,5 M2HB, 1917a1, ak74(2) amd 65, RPK (2) 11 aks and 50 other guns....

All recent frames(2007 and later) are marked H&R, there is no NEF any more except for the imported shotguns, I think the Survivor has always been an H&R marked firearm just as the Ultras, BC and TDC have been, kinda the upscale offerings from H&R, NEF was their entry level product line. If it was put together from parts by someone, the last three digits of the frame serial number probably won't match on the left side of the barrel underlug.  ;)
