I have a Lyman I bought new about 15 yrs. ago. I use it mostly for pistol ammo I have a Lyman Crusher II thats about 5or 6yrs. old. I use it for rifle ammo or to size and deprime or whatever. I like 'em both but can't compare them to RCBS 'cause I've never used one.

I load my lower volume rounds on a Lee Classic turret. Not an RCBS, but still a turret.  Used the old Lee 3 hole for about 10 yrs. I gave it to my son when I bought the Classic. I wanted the 4 hole turret and the auto indexing feature. I haven't used my single stage press more than a couple times in years. The RCBS turret is well made and durable I'm sure.  It's made in China if that matters to you. I THINK the Lyman is made in the USA. FWIW

The turrent on my lyman has a little vertical play in it (like a lot of turrents do) and some reckon that this helps the componets line up a little better when the crunch is on.

I make sure to set those dies to cam over just abit to absorb that slack. Cant really do that with the bullet seating die but I make sure to give the handle a firm, but not excessive bump on the downstroke.

I have used it as intended and it seemed to be fun and easy (for a manual) but I have run it as a single stage for several years now.

With the new lock and load features on the Hornady Press you can change dies without having to reset them. Faster than a turret press and less play/movement.

I have used a Lyman Turret press and it was okay.  I own and use a RCBS and it is nice.  The one I use the most is my Lee Classic Turret Press.  It has auto indexing and the 4 hole heads are under $10 each so I have one for each cal that I load lots of ammo for.  Each pull of the handle automatically turns a new die and you don't have to do anything other than add powder and a bullet.  It is slick and is also the cheapest turret press by far.  I have loaded thousands of 44 mag, 357 mag, 38 sp, 30-30, 308, 338, 38-55, and 30-06 on this press and it still keeps going.  Look one over before you buy any other turret press.

You can only hit the target if the barrel is pointed in the right direction when the bullet leaves the barrel.

The Classic Turret is pretty fast. Like Sixgun, when I use it, I auto index. Not as fast as my progressives, but faster and less hassle than a single stage. Everything that doesn't go on the progressives goes on the turret. I have multiple turrets and leave the dies installed and the shellholder attached to the turret with a rubber band. The ones I use most often have their own powder measures installed. Quick changeovers are the name of the game.

I have a Redding T-7 turret press which I really like.  It's built like a tank and the 7 stations mean I can keep several sets of dies on it all ready to load cartridges.

I have the RCBS Turret and like it very much. I can keep the dies on the press for three different calibers. I used this feature recently when I was developing nonlead loads for different calibers for hunting in Kalifornistan. It also has the convenience that if for some reason (miscount, find a damaged case, etc.) you can add another die to go back and bring up some more brass into the reloading process. You don't have to remove the die you're using and have to reset it again later. When doing load develpment I leave the dies on for the load development in case I have to change things after a trip to the range. I don't really believe that turret presses yield less accurate loads than single stage presses.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.
