the Turkish Mauser (Ankara 1938 and beyond)  are large ring, full length actions that the Turks required Mauser to build with small ring threads, so they could use leftover Model 1893 barrels. So any Model 1898 full length bolt should fit your Turk,,,look on Gun Broker  for one already forged or rewelded. or their are some gunsmith services to charge to do your bolt. I recommend welded versus Forged since the welded bolt give you a lil extra length. Numrich (Gun PArts Corp) has some nice checkered bolt handles for welding...

pj:  if you don't want to go the way bubba.50 suggested then go to Shotgun News and check the major parts suppliers - I know I have seen Mauser 98 bolts sold separately by either SAMCO or SARCO.  I won't matter whose 98 bolt you purchase as you will have to fit it to your action...

Also in the ShotgunNews, gunsmith Reid Coffield is authoring a article on making a 'Switch-Barrel Mauser' and is, in the latest edition, getting into cutting and welding a new handle on a existing bolt.  It's a good, informative article that may be of interest to you.  HTH.

I think numrich gun parts does offer a 98 mauser bent bolt or at least they did.

If you have a 38 turk mauser the 98k bolt will interchange i know i seen there exactly the same.

Remember to check the headspace when changing the bolts out.

There are plenty of guys on the net that will bend your existing bolt for $30-40.  If you plan on keeping the original barrel that's the way to go - it means you maintain proper headspacing.

If you're planning on rebarreling it, then replacement bolts cost about the same (and as has already been said, it'll take any Mauser 98 bolt).
