New Stevens in Brown

Academy had Stevens 200s on sale black friday for $239.00. Figured I needed to pick a .270 up for the younger son.
To my surprise the stock was a coyote brown. Much better than the ugly grey on my .308 (which I promptly rattle-can camo'd).
Took it out today to sight it in. Ran Federal Power Shock 150 through it. As expected it shot better than I can.

Academy Sports, big box store. Not sure if they are still running the special or not...probably not.

I'll have to work on a picture. First in line is getting my son married in about 8 days. Second in figuring out how to import and post a picture. I'm not sure which is going to be harder.
It's just a brown, maybe like the brown stripe in ASAT camo
www.asatcamo.com
. Just a med. brown, not to dark, not too light.

Hey guys, I just this morning in Joplin, Missouri--Academy Sports has then for $199 and if you fill out a credit application it takes $50 off! I bought one for out the door $161!! That is tax included. A real bargain.

Good through 12-19-09
From the website
http://www.academy.com/index.php?page=catalog&target=weeklyad&pgNum=25
.270 or 7-08 $199
The brown on my son's stock is a little darker than pictured.

I finally scoped this gun and shot it last weekend. The gun is really shooter 1/2 to 3/4 right off the bat. I am gonna work on the trigger a little bite but for the money these are great.
