Knight Bighorn

I've had a Knight Bighorn for a few years now.  It shoots Hornady 300 grain XTP's with 90 grains of 2F very well out to 100 yards with a #11 percussion cap.  It's really good for deer.  I have also used it in pouring rain without problems.  I don't know how the 209 guns could be much better.  I had a Thompson Center Omega, but didn't like it and went back to the Bighorn. I think I'm probably pretty good to shoot out to 125 yards.
The old Wolverines are about as good as anything.  Guys get the bug for a new rifle (myself included) and spend a lot of money for something that is not that much better than what they are already shooting.  Just my opinion.

I know what you mean. My first muzzleloader was a Knight BK-92, when the Disc rifle came out I had to get one. That Disc rifle never shot as well as the BK did. I really like the old plunger style guns.

The Bighorn is a great rifle.  I love my Remington 700ML it also uses #11 caps.
