I have no idea at all
the photos are of such low quality that it isnt possible to enlarge them enough to see why its angled
I also get a feeling that the photos are copied from an printed book when Im looking at them
then he claim that its a 16th or 17th century cannon
if he said mid 18th century I maybe could agree, but not without looking very carefully at it
center mounted trunnions ??
Ive never seen any period cannon with an "decorative" coat of arms
everything I have seen with an non existing coat of arms have been reproductions
so something in the back of my head say reproduction
Im absolutely not sure about that, but its just too many things that aint correct on that gun
but still its an beautiful cannon
